The vineyard is conducted under the principle of the “Organic Agriculture” since the Harvest 2015 (Ecocert).
A constant supervision to prevent any risk of diseases (such as mildew and oïdium mainly) allows treatments to be limited to the strict necessary, meanwhile grapes of good quality are being produced. All of these treatments are approved by organic agriculture.
Besides, the plots are implanted in a concern to preserve the environment and to leave zones for the fauna and the flora (presence of hedges and woods).
Therefore, Château Pompilia focuses on a more qualitative than quantitatively based production of the grapes, with an average of 1200 hectolitres a year.
About 80% of the production is dedicated to the “Rosé of Provence”, the Property having made it become its speciality; 20% are left to be parted between three other beautiful blendings of white wine, of red wine, and of good quality sparkling wine.
